It is better to see
than hear on a phone
to know that they are there
you are not alone
Some people think the word on line
Does not mean a thing
But when you are involved, to me, it means everything.
Though I have only seen your picture on line
There is just something that says you would not lie
Not only in the picture
But in writing, you see
That you promised you would never lie to me.
A month or so passed
We continued to talk
Boy you got me thinking of us
Going for a romantic walk.
You saw my picture too
You said you have seen no other
A few days passed
We admitted to liking each other.
Sure I knew
That as time went on
I would like you more
And be thinking of our song
But what surprised me the most
Was without a doubt YOU
I knew you liked me
But not to what extent it went to
When you told me
That I am your first love
I swear that I
Got lifted a little above.
Then you told me
That I taught you how to truly care for a girl
I was again speechless..
I felt like a pearl.
The next thing that came
With triple dots at the end,
I could not believe was true,
Were the exact words,
I...I love you.
Right then and there
I did not know what to do
All I wanted to say was,
I love you back to you.
But I wanted to wait,
To know my feelings
Cause the only way to see you
Was by car,
You live in the same state
But yet you are far.
I will soon
Tell my feelings to you.
Because I want them to be perfect
when I say,
I love you, too!
