Xmas is over and New Year screams

The party is over, but still we're late

No time to say hello to our friends

no time to call, don't make amends

Where's the next party, so we say

I need to dance the night away

Sparkle so yet in my eyes

the drums they pound, the guitar cries

Another year and still the same

We are so proud, but yet ashamed

I've been quite lonely, and had such fun

Had a zillion friends, and only one

What is life? What do you seek?

Are you the stronger or just the meek?

I have seen the rich just whine

Then again I've seen the bums just dine

Another year, another dance

We wake up in time, as if by chance.

For all is relative when one takes time
