We were together so long
How did it fall apart?
Why did it fall apart?
We were closer than siblingsTwo peas in a pod, you and I
You said we'd be together forever
I guess forever is over now
For now you're in love with her
And forever will be spent with her
You and her, happy and in love
Or so you think
You'll find another within a month
And you think you love her
But in my heart I know you don't
How do I know?
Because you're crawling back to me
You know as I do
Your love for me is true
However, my love for you is not
So leave me be
You and I were not meant to be
