I took a walk into the starry night,
After you took me on that wonderful flight.
The rain coming down, soaking my hair,
I knew I had been hit by cupids flying flair.
The headlights hit me,
My movement wasn't fast enough.
For all I felt was a painful sudden rush.
The flow of the warmth,
The coolness of the ground.
I felt things come to an end,
As I looked all around.
I heard the sirens,
The stopping of the cars.
I saw no life ahead of me, as I tried to move my arm.
I saw the blood,....then came the tears,
My side was hurting badly as I had met all my fears.
I wished that you could hold me,
So I could say goodbye.
I never woke up thinking that was the day that I would die.
The day we had was wonderful,
The flight we had was great.
I love you more than words can say,
The rest I leave to fate. | |
