When we first met I couldn't even remember your name
but then I glanced into your eyes and nothing was the same
My body soon became tense
and for the first time everything started to make sense
I loved the way you could make me smile
even if it was only for this short while
My knees hit the floor the minute you slammed my door
and back came the pain that I have known from before

What did I do to deserve all this
is there not anytime for just one last kiss
Why did you have to go
if it was something I did please let me know

Hold on..no this can't be right
there is no way you could leave without a fight
I guess you really do want her back
and here is where my world goes to black

So this is the last time to let you know that I care
I guess the world really isn't fair
