Her mistakes...Read!

Submitted by Lorie Lor

In early May in Minneapolis, there was a girl name Cindy. She was the type of person who was easily influenced, so she would always get bad ideas from others and get tempted easily. One day she was going out for a walk, and she happened to see a girl name Linda walking towards her way. She was coming from her friend Ann’s house. They stopped and talk because they knew each other from a guy friend name Bob. (Bob was Cindy’s current crush). Cindy decided to walk around with her and stayed over at Ann’s house with Linda.
All of a sudden, Cindy’s biggest crush came over. She was thinking to herself “Oh my gosh! I can’t believe he’s here!” He was fixing his car at Ann’s house and was going to head back to his friends house. It was getting late too and Cindy knew that if she didn’t go home she would get in real big trouble with her mom. As said earlier, she was easily tempted. Linda told Cindy to come with her and Bob back to his friend’s house. She hesitated “It’s ok, I think I’m just going to head on back home now before I get in real
deep trouble.” Linda kept persuading Cindy to go because Linda said she didn’t want to be the only girl there. Cindy decided to go, since she couldn’t resist not being with her crush. Before she agreed to go she asked Linda “Do you think that Bob will send me home before eight o’ clock?” “Of course he would, don’t worry about that!” said Linda.
Cindy called home around eight at night, and she knew she was in very deep trouble. Terribly shaking, she called her mom.
“Hello?” Mom answered
“Mom?”
“Where are you at!? Didn’t I tell you not to go anywhere?” yelled mom.
“But mom, it’s only eight o ‘clock! I’m just with my friend and I’ll be home in a little bit ok?” Cindy Explained.
“No! Since you want to go out so much, you can just stay out!” mom yelled again, and hung up.
Her mom was so mad that her mom kicked her out of the house. At the moment, she didn’t really care because she had to be with her crush. About one and a half months went by and Cindy still didn’t go home. She had a steady place at Ann’s house because Ann’s parents were never usually home. She would always think about Bob. She liked Bob so much, but sometimes he would act like he didn’t care about her. She would get so depressed sometimes and would always cry. Cindy hated him so much now that she wished she’d never met him. One day Linda had her guy friends come over. Their names were David and Josh.
It was like love at first sight for Josh when he saw Cindy, but she did not like him at all. Instead, she liked his friend David. She finally got over Bob. For awhile, Cindy was giving Josh mixed messages because she would let him hug her and hold her hands, but what she really wanted to do was get away from him. She didn’t want to hurt his feelings so that’s why she never said anything. One day she had the nerves to tell him that she didn’t like him in the first place. He was sad, but he couldn’t do anything about it. A couple
days passed and Cindy and David had gotten together. They got closer and closer each day. She would stay at his house because she was still on the run for two months now. One day in early June, she finally went home because she was forced to go home by her boyfriend
David. “It’s for the better of you and me,” said David. She went home and everything turned out all right. Today their love has grown strong. She admires him so much because if it wasn’t for him, she would still be on the run. All she needed was someone to depend on so
she wouldn’t have to always get to know new people. “David changed my life for the better; he gives me something to look forward to each day. He would always tell me what’s good and what’s bad.” Without him, Cindy’s life would have been a very big mess. She would’ve
continued to be truant in school and do other bad things. She calls him her guiding angel sent from above to help her straighten out her life. They’ve been dating for seven months now and plans to get married later on in life. They had a fortune telling and it said that they were right for each other. That made Cindy really happy. “It’s weird how things you’d never expect, happen,” said Cindy to David. Her life is better now and she continues to go to school. She loves her boyfriend very much and hopes for the better of them two.
