Lost among a million thoughts and dreams
each one a memory struggling to breathe
Fighting so desperately
Expereince made me shy and alone Could not speak, no words, there was no sound
A silence deaf inside me
I never accepted help
Arms flailing desperate to succeed
Till you couldn't recognize me
Deeper into my death
and on the edge of the horizon
Tired, so tired of it all
Those restless thoughts overwhelming
Forcing me over the edge
My cry for help, I thought unheard
Answered with a gentle push back to life
A few words from a friend
And as this despair lessons
As this black abyss turns white again
No longer silenced, outspoken
Trampeling over a once consuming fear
Another chance, my greatest triumph
To once again become me
Not hidden in the shadows
