Febuary 1
My father and I visited my wedded sister Meridith today. Her house was huge and white with a large area in the back. She greeted us with a kiss and I met her son David. He looked like a squirell with nose round as blackberry. Then invited as for a cup of tea.
"How've you been Father, Ann?" She asked. Meridith wiped the dust off her face and sipped on the cup."Where is william?"Father asked. He too sipped a gulped of tea but spitted back out. William is in America looking for a job." She answered.
I was quiet and just listened to them. There was nothing I could say, father and sister often talk about marrige and Jobs. I have nothing to do with being wedded and working.
"How is mother?" Meridith asked. She looked at me for the answer, but I did not asnwer because I did not know she was asking me. "Oh...mother's fine." I answered.
Father and Meridith exchanged looks and I just stared down my cup.
"More tea?" Meridith rosed up and held the laces of her dress from getting dragged on the floor.
"No, I've a lot here." I answered, and sippied silently.
"Father, what is this?" I said, spitting back.
"Now Ann, it's not lady like to...it's very disgusting, what did she put in this thing?"Father croaked out and we both laughed.
I love father, perhaps he would make a better mother than mother. He's kind a gentle, I wonder how he ever decided to marry mother.
Meridith and Father talked for a while about the same things. At about noon father decided we should be heading home, Mother does not like to be kept waitiing for brunch.

During dinner there was a new servant again. I figured mother is just wasting her time, she's very picky but I believe she should've settled for John or whatsoever his name was.
"So Ann, have you decided who your going to take to the festival?" Mother asked.
"I'm not thinking of going Mother, I hope it's okay with you."I answered sarcasmly.
"This is not a way to be a lady, now you are going to that festival with someone else. Don't you want to be like your sisters?" She returned the sarcasm tone.
"Mother, I have no one to take! I don't go around asking every boy to take me, which completely is stupid." I yelled.
Mother stood up with the chair falling off and hitting the floor, "Ann, don't you dare raise that voice, that's one thing a lady should never do, now go up to your room and I am excusing you from going to that...that miserable place you go to!" She yelled back.
"How can you even say it's miserable if you don't know where and what it is?" I screeched.
"Barnsley Hills? Is that where you go? Where sheeps and stupid goats live?" She blurted.
I stood there speechless and was to break off like a vase.
"Cease this now, Ann sit down and finish your food, Mary you sit and shall do the same. Cope with each other." Father growled.
I was about to sit but I decided,"I am sorry father, but I resist to sit on the same table with mother." I said, and I ran to the golden granned stairs.
Mother is a lady but does not know how to turn one who isn't into one. I love mother but at times I wonder if she may hate me, or if she favours Meridith and Joane more because they are ladies. But they are merely ladies, last week Meridith could barely make tea. Joane on the other side knows how to cook but would make our stomach grumble. I soppose mother has poor taste.

Mother and I has not been talking for a while, but I am glad because we would end up not talking to each other again.
I visited Joane today, her house was the same as Meridith's but her place was a bit messy. She greeted me in with a kiss andmso did her hushband James. On the way in she asked me if I was going to the festival, I didn't know the answer. Mother said that I had to go but since were not speaking does that mean no?
"If you are do you have an escourt?" James asked. He crossed his arms and his thin lips glided across his face.
"No." I answered.
"Well it's tonight, how're you going to go?" Joane askied.
"Maybe I shouldn't." I answered.
"If you want to go, then do you mind taking Allen?"
"Who's Allen?"
