my grandpa

He tried to stay strong,
But couldn't last very long.
He tried to pull through,
And did all he could do.As we sat there and watch his heart rate drop,
We hoped that his heart would not stop.
As it continued to get low,
We all know it was his time to go.
We all sat around and cried,
As we seen the one we love slowly die.
Now he's with his son Jose,
And I knowthey'll be watching over us night and day.

R.I.P. Tio Jose & Grandpa

I think you put a lot of emotion into this poem...I recently went through somtrthing similar so i know how that feel...i think you did a very good job of putting all of it in words!! I don't kno if i could have!!
