A Cruel World

I never knew life would be so hard.
So cruel
Untrue
They'll talk behind your back,
Never in your face.Criticized, Ridiculed,
Because of my race.
I've been place to place,
But still, there's always hate.
I was taught to have respect.
Treat others the way you would want to be treated
But I don't see it.
God, what went wrong with the people you created?
Satin's tyring to get a hold,
But we have to have faith,
Be bold.
Mold the next generation into what you were.
Don't let them end up standing or laying on a curb.
Jealousy
It just overwhelms me,
Pointless, so wrong.
I never knew life would be so hard.
