Yo...Aventura, a bachata band, did the original version of this, called "Obsecion" and it's WAY better than this version that Frankie J and Baby Bash did. They also have an english remix to it, so if you don't know Spanish, get that version.

sigh!!!! at last...tonite i finally got to download the song obsession, not the frankie j version but the ori by aventura...i heard it first when i was in france,now 4 months later my heart is aching to hear the exact tune like the one i heard in the bus on the way to spain....and yes, the original is Muuccccchhhhhhch much much much mooooore better than frankie's and baby bash...trust us...mwah...

The Aventura song of "obsession" is the orginal and Frankie's just made it more 2005'ish and all three of his versions (english, spanglish & spanish) are awesome! ciao!

First, I think both songs are good, but the real version from Aventura is better. What I have to say is that Mariana is the one who has to go and listen to the song again. Don't go around saying you got the right lyrics cuz you don't. Whoever posted that her lyrics were right, they gotta go and listen to the song and read the lyrics. Listen to the words then go check your lyrics girl. Not good! All I gotta say.
