Miss Anorexia

There she is
walking down the aile.
Big smile, long legs, sharp elbows, tight stomach.
People staring at her
saying to themselves how skinny she is and they wonder how she does it...to keep such a body like that. The audience loves her.
They love her "fake body" and "fake smile"
That's all they want to see.
She might look alive in the outside
but she's dead in the inside.
They don't know that she faked the whole show.
They only want to see a pretty girl with a pretty face
walking in heals.
There she is walking down the aile.
She had secrets left untold
but she couldn't do it.
She couldn't tell them that it was a fake show.
Her happiness was all a lie.
Applauding, Standing up, Big Smiles.
People were applauding to fakeness.
Miss Anorexia.

I love this poem. This so very true. They think that we don't understand what they're going through. I, for one, do. I've been there.

this poem is very true. I hate going through magazines full of these "fake" people. I wish everyone could just be who they are.......not someone they are not. people should just be happy with themselves!
