I Should Have Listened To My Friend

My friend always told me
that you were a little kid and
that you didnt know what you wanted,
that you were too young and i was too old.She said that you were playing games with me
and that you would find someone else,
she told me to leave you and to just have fun .

She said that you were not worth it
and that you would make me cry.
She told me you would brake my
heart and that you were not the one.

But she never mentioned...
that i would fall in love with you,
and that my heart will always belong to you.
Even though what she said was true...
