to my son and his dead father

baby boy i miss you
you were the love of my life
did you have to leave me here with a baby on the way
it has been 6 months and 7 days sicne you went awaythe baby was born 3 weeks ago
the baby was a boy
he is named after you
the father he will never meet
i tell him about you every day
even thought he probally does not understand
and when he is older and he ask me about you or ask where you are i will tell him you loved me and him both but the lord needed you to be by his side
and if he asks why i will say you where an angel only meant to stay for a little while and if he asks why i will say mommy does not know dear but one day you will meet your daddy and you can play with him all you want but just not today because mommy is not ready to let you leave her right now because you are just like your daddy and mommy needs you to stay
so promise me one thing you will stay untill god calls your name but when you hear please tell me so i can say goodbye and tell you i love you and so you can tell daddy i love him too!!
but son please do not leave just yet because you are the only thing in the world that is keeping me alive and if you die mommy will have to cry and do something stupid to be by your side!!!
