My Obsession

There's a knot in my throat that won't go away,
It's been there bothering me since yesterday.

I knew it wouldn't last, I held on too long,
But I'm so glad we didn't have "our" song.You cut me deep, you hurt me so much,
But I really really hope that we keep in touch.

I thought it was love, I thought it was true,
cause trust me I believed you when you said you loved me too.

Everytime I saw you, you took my breath away,
Everytime I talked to you, I didn't know what to say.

Now I'm upset and I don't know why,
But maybe it's because you didn't even cry.
