Often I wonder if you're worth the try.
I'd take the risk to tell you, but I'm just too shy.
My heart has been hurt and neglected before,
Would you be worth the pain if it happened once more?
Often I wonder when you're next to me,
If I were to hold you in my arms, would you be happy?
I always picture us together as being one,
But my shattered heart reminds me that heartbreak is no fun.
Often I wonder, when I am alone,
How great it would be for my love to be known.
I miss you every night, I think of you every day,
If I had the perfect chance to tell you, what would I say?
Often I wonder, when I think of the past,
If we ever built a relationship, would it last?
I'm too weak to find the answers, too scared to see the truth.
Please help me break this barrier that my wonder has built over you.
