Quietly in the dark
As the moon glides across the sky
My heart drifts to you
Over the hills and thro'the meadows
Gently I reach out to you
The whiff of your perfume I perceive
To the music of your voice I dance
Again I reach out to youThough so close, so real in my heart
Yet so far away from my body
Forlorn and weary
My heart drifts back into me
As I calmly await you
And patiently too...
