Cupid's Mistake

In the middle of the night;

I cry to sleep.

I don’t realize it;

But I’m in too deep.
It’s been to long;

Since she said goodbye;

But I sill cant take it;

I don’t know why.



We’ve shared too much;

To let her go;

This might be why;

It hurts me so.



All night I cry;

By my bed I kneel;

Still this way;

I will live to feel.



The way it ended;

Was just so bad;

Why did I leave;

And lose all I had.



If I could only find;

A way to bring back time;

This poem of mine;

Would still have a rhyme.



She’s happy with him;

That’s why she left;

A simple fact;

That I can’t accept.



Maybe he’s better;

Since he managed to break;

Our timeless moments;

Shared by the lake.



Pathetic love songs;

Repeating in my ears;

It’s hard to believe;

That she’s really not here.



My dreams are shattered;

My heart now in two;

Where did I go wrong?

Just give me a clue.



What a big mistake;

That cupid did make;

Built a love easily fallen;

By a little shake.



It’s wrong that I’m alone;

And my angel’s not here;

Cupid’s biggest mistake was…

My heart in despair.
