It’s always hard to say;
When times like these arise.
You put on a happy smile;
A façade to your disguise.“The time has now arrived;
Now you’re feeling what you feel.
Just say a quick, “Goodbye.”;
And accept that it is real.”
“You’ve cherished every moment;
From beginning ‘til the end.
Now you’re left a heart;
That you’ll soon have to mend.”
If this really is, “Goodbye!”;
Then, “Thanks for all you gave!”.
To God I’ll pray your many blessings;
As I give that final wave.
If ever I wasn’t there;
At a time you needed me.
Let me use this poem;
As a tool of apology.
“Now enough with the regrets;
It’s really not that bad.
Just keep on holding on;
And remember what you had.”
Before I let you go;
Just one more thing to say.
If you ever needs some help;
Just kneel down and pray.
My prayers and my thoughts;
Will be with you night and day.
For that’s all I might see;
When we go your “Separate Ways.”
